Stimuli for Appropriate Intelligence Test to Evaluate Effectiveness of Educational Services: Empirical Concept for Children with Intellectual Impairment in the Northeast of Thailand
This review describes the predictor value of stimuli associated with a variety constructed tests that are used to access the capability of children with intellectual impairment. The following topics are discussed: Roy’s adaptation model, intelligence tests, simulation, phenomenology and the helping-trust relationship that results from doing the constructed test with children with special needs. This helping-trust relationship is a part of intervention in the human care process, which becomes actualized during the moment-to-moment human care process when the test conductor is with the child. The principles and aims of simulation using a phenomenological approach, when conducting a constructed test, is to let the child with intellectual impairment has an opportunity to analyze and find a way to solve a problem. When the result is positive ,this refers crystallized intelligence which may be used effectively especially when accompanied with fluid intelligence.this is consistent with ,claimed by Sapeanchai’s claim(1969:12) that intelligence is brain behavior comprised of:
In this paper, the author explores the use principles of recognition in simulation construction that should be as close to reality as is possible and should not be too complex for the learner. A simulation of this type will produce a powerful stimuli, such as is suggested by Roy's model of stimuli which includes a focal, contextual and residual stimuli as necessary in a constructed test for children with intellectual impairment in the Northeast of Thailand. A conceptual frame work that includes the effectiveness of stimuli related to doing constructed nonverbal tests, as well as the learning provision cycle and frame of future studies are discussed in the conclusions.
